LifeWaters just received $84,000 in grants to assist us with training over the next 12 months.
The Craig Neilsen Foundation has committed to LifeWaters training 20 Spinal Cord Injured individuals. The training includes Discover Scuba for a novice wanting to test the water through full scuba certification for those willing to take the plunge. This program is open to anyone with spinal cord injuries or conditions stemming from the spinal cord.
VA Adaptive Sports Grant has awarded support to LifeWaters for 60 disabled Veterans to experience aqua therapy through Scuba, Discover Scuba and Snorkeling.
Training for these programs starts in a local pool, then finishes at an open water location. You can train in the St. Louis area or Mesa, Arizona.
LifeWaters provides the instructor, the dive buddies and equipment for training.

LifeWaters and Saguaro Diving will be scheduling training in the pool throughout the winter months with the open water section in 2018 as weather permits.
